The Role

An opportunity has become available for an Occupational Therapist/Psychologist/Social Worker Senior (Mental Health Worker - Continuing Care Team)to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 10 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

• Deliver high level clinical services in accordance with professional code of ethics
• Provide efficient, responsive and recovery-orientated mental health care in a variety of hospital and community settings
• Provide high level evidence-based assessment, collaborative treatment planning and case management
• Share high level specialised mental health knowledge and skill in team training and professional development activities
• Develop, implement and evaluate work unit quality activities in professional and mental health practice

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Social Work
• AHPRA Registration (Occupational Therapist and Psychologist only)
• Eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (Social Worker only)
• Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 19
• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
• Driver Licence
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Salary

• Permanent full time
• Base salary ranging from $115 049 - $123 799 per annum

The Continuing Care Team service aim is to offer a recovery-oriented approach that is person-centred, strengths based, collaborative and empowering. There is an emphasis on consumer choice, building resilience and enhancing opportunities for social inclusion. The Project AIR strategy provides specialised and enhanced treatment options for people with personality disorders, their families and carers and supports the development of personality disorder-inclusive health services. Based in Palm Beach.
