We are seeking a fixed term temporary full-time AO8 Benefits manager (until 31 March 2023) to join our team at Queensland Government Critical Supply Reserve (QGCSR), Department of Health. This role is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for all benefits realisation management activities within the QGCSR program/project(s) including benefits related to communications, stakeholder engagement and training. Located in Bowen Hills the successful applicant will also manage the aggregation of QGCSR program benefits to provide evidence for a return on investment. The Queensland Government Critical Supply Reserve (QGCSR) is a program of work established to protect against supply chain disruption and secure critical supplies for Queensland. The reserve will ensure frontline workers have access to the supplies and equipment needed to support essential services. It will also ensure supply arrangements are not disrupted during a public health emergency or natural disaster, including bushfires, cyclones and floods.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in the delivery of benefits realisation management through, documentation, implementation and evaluation of business change strategies in large scale complex program/project(s), promoting the appropriate use of standards and techniques
  • Proven stakeholder relationship management skills to support benefits realisation management and effective business change, including the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Proven excellent negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex program/project environment.
  • Proven analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills and a proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members.
  • Strong ability / experience in data analysis and reporting and willingness to develop skills in the use of other reporting programs

Mandatory qualification/s and other requirements:

  • While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
  • It is a condition of employment for this role, for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against COVID-19 as per the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
  • It may be a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against one or more of the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment (Health Employment Directive No. 01/16(PDF) ( [***] )): measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), varicella (chicken pox),pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis B, tuberculosis.
